| From Anzaly, a major Caspian
seaport, to the city of Astara, this scenic region is a land of sharp contrast, ranging from high forested mountains to subtropical
coastal land along the southwest shores of the Caspian Sea. A route passes through villages nestling at the foot of the Talesh
mountains, their rice farms and citrus orchards scattered in the landscape between the mountains and the sea and connects
Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan. |
